Living Waters House of Hope partners with local and national social service agencies, employment agencies, and community development programs to provide comprehensive services for its participants. As they matriculate through the program, we provide the scaffolds necessary for their transition into the workforce.
The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program at Living Waters HoH serves adults who are experiencing difficulties functioning in their home and/or community due to mental health or substance use issues, or both. Our goal is to help our clients restore the skills and abilities essential for them to reach an optimal level of independence and self-sufficiency. We provide each client with the tools necessary to successfully integrate themselves in their community, obtain and maintain employment, and build healthy social relationships. Our consumers are actively involved in setting personal goals and identifying the tasks needed to attain and sustain effective functioning in their lives. At the core of the program is a life skills curriculum that helps clients understand their issues and develop coping strategies for lasting health and well-being.

Living Waters HoH provides a drug and substance-free environment which gives our consumers the best possible environment to thrive. Substance screenings aid us at Living Waters HoH in identifying those consumers who have or are at risk as well as those who need further assessment to diagnose and/or treat them.
Living Waters HoH provides a full spectrum of psychiatric services. Our licensed psychiatrists are trained physicians who diagnose and treat mental health and substance use conditions. A psychiatric evaluation helps determine the need for medication and makes specific treatment recommendations. Psychiatric treatment and medication management are available through our licensed psychiatrists, as well as, our highly qualified psychiatric nurse practitioners.

Living Waters HoH is available 24 hours each day and 7 days each week to respond to a crisis or emergency situation. If you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 911 immediately. Otherwise, call our main number. Follow the prompts to speak to someone who can help. We are here to assist you through your crisis and help provide, or link you to, the services you need. Just reach out to us and we’re here for you.
Living Waters HoH will assist you and your loved ones with referrals and/or information when more intensive services such as detoxification, inpatient hospitalization, or residential treatment may be needed.
Living Waters HOH serves adults who are experiencing difficulties functioning in their home and/or community due to mental health or substance use issues, or both. Living Waters transitional housing is supportive housing that helps fight the homeless problem in the DMV. Living Waters transitional housing is generally for a limited period of time. Staying as a guest in our homes can be from two weeks to twenty four months. Our transitional housing provides people with help after a crisis such as homelessness or domestic violence.
